Around this time of year I've always known to be such a pessimist. Always looking at the negative sides of life. But yet, it seems that after 5 years running the cycle repeats itself. There's something new in store for me every year. I've been left in tears almost every year around this time... but I plan to let that go. I've lost almost everything - friends and family and soon I'm going to lose myself. This is why it's the depressing time of year, you realize it not only with growing knowledge that co-relates with age.. but you see who's been there for you during the apparent "good" times like today, and the bad. Neither have come forth. Overall, I'm just glad to say that I have my boyfriend. He holds me together & ultimately, he's all I need.
