"You set the bar high." is another way of comparing one to another.. and it is also another way of showing competitiveness between two or more people. I don't understand why life has to be based on competition. We don't know it or may not realize it.. but subconciously with the mindset "survival of the fittest" we strive to achieve one thing - and that's to be better than the other. So tell me right now how that's not competition. We're surrounded by feeling a ranking - first place, second, and sometimes even last. That's just how life is.. weather we like it or not, someones going to be smarter than the other, someones going to be prettier than the other. We have to acknowledge that people posses different strengths and weaknesses.. and most importantly we have to work with what we've got. Never strive to be someone or something your not so you could feel like your in the running. Be proud of who you are and who God made you to be and emphasize your own beauty, cause no one else is like you - we're all different, one in a million.
